How to mark up photos in the ServiceM8 app

Marking up job photos can help you give clear and precise instructions when describing work requirements, communicating issues or findings, or quoting jobs.

You can markup photos easily in the ServiceM8 iOS app, whether you're working with photos within the job card or taking them as part of a form requirement.

With the markup tool, you can:

  • Draw freely on the photo;
  • Add text to the photo;
  • Add shapes, such as lines, arrows, circles, squares, and more.

To mark up a photo:

Note that any photos taken within ServiceM8 are stored in the job's Diary.

  1. Open the photo from the job Diary.
  2. Tap the Markup icon.
