ServiceM8's support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) means you can connect your ServiceM8 account with AI agents like ChatGPT, enabling new ways to leverage AI and work smarter.
Once connected, you can query your agent regarding certain aspects of your jobs and account, to help you gain insights or improve productivity. Your agent can:
- Add a job Note
- Create a job using a Job Template
- Search Clients & Jobs
- List jobs
- List staff members
- List Job Templates
How to connect ServiceM8 to ChatGPT via MCP
1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Connectors > Create.
2. Create a new connector for ServiceM8.
- Set the 'MCP Server URL' to: https://go.servicem8.com/mcp
- Set 'Authentication' to: OAuth
Once done, click Create, and you'll see a green ServiceM8 authentication screen where you can grant ChatGPT permission to access your ServiceM8 account data.
4. Once connected, start a new chat in ChatGPT, click the + icon, then 'Use Connectors'.
5. Switch your ServiceM8 connector On.
6. Done! Start working with your agent.
